Our Story

Cyrus Poonawalla School, Nagaon is a modern educational institute born out of a vision to bring quality education to the children of Raigad district. The PNP Education Trust, the driving force behind our school, is dedicated to the cause of positively impacting the children of the region by providing them an enriching school experience. Our team of educators are relentlessly involved in empowering the youth. We believe the best way to do that is by giving them the best education, on par with that offered by world-renowned names in education.

About Cyrus Poonawalla School

Cyrus Poonawalla School, Nagaon is located in Nagaon village, Raigad. The school is equipped with modern amenities, which are on par with the best international schools in Mumbai and Pune. The school follows the CBSE syllabus and has partnered with Next Education to provide modern education incorporating 21st-century skills. We have also partnered with Trinity College London to provide our students concept-based learning. The PNP Education Trust runs Cyrus Poonawalla School, Nagaon with the generous help of the Villoo Poonawalla Charitable Foundation.

Our Programmes

Pre-primary (Play Group, LKG and UKG)

Our pre-primary section aims to lay a strong foundation in education for young learners by nurturing their interest in learning. We introduce children gradually to the school environment. Since they are very playful at this age, we have created a game-based approach that allows learning and playing to go hand-in-hand.

Primary (Grades I–V )

Our primary section takes the learning process forward, preparing students for deeper involvement in academics. We understand the importance of providing an inclusive learning environment that caters to all types of learners. Our students in the primary section get moulded in five years to realise their full potential and receive secondary education as confident learners.

Secondary (Grades VI–IX)

Our students in the secondary section delve deep into the core subjects and holistically imbibe knowledge. Experiential learning, multimodal learning and adaptive assessment are employed in these grades to strengthen the knowledge gained by students over the years. This phase of schooling develops their problem-solving and critical thinking skills and prepares them for higher education.
